Great news for iPhone 4 users who have been waiting to get Siri on their devices; while hackers have been working a lot to port Siri on iPhone 4, some could now make Siri dictation available for free for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users. Siri dictation is a part from the full Siri part. Let’s have small how to guide below.
Siri on iPhone 4 has already been fully ported and we’ve seen it also on iPod touch 4G and iPhone 3GS. The port will not be released until an iPhone 4S is released to the public. Today, developer Eric Day developed a jailbreak tweak which brings Siri’s “dictation” on your iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.
How To Install Siri Dictation On iPhone 4
STEP 1: You’ll need a jailbroken iPhone 4 or 3GS running iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1. You can follow the guide posted here to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 or posted here to jailbreak iOS 5.
STEP 2: Once jailbroken, head to Cydia and then on Manage, Sources, Edit, Add and write down the following repository as shown:

STEP 3: Now search for Siri0us and install it.
STEP 4: You’re done. You can now use Siri dictation right from anywhere your iPhone. Open notes, for example, and hit the dictation button to use it as the following:
There’s a small bug noted by the developer:
If your device keeps respring, DONOT restore! Use iFunBox/iPhone Explorer/SSH to remove /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AssistantServices.framework from your device.
The tweak “Siri0us” works on all iOS 5 devices: iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G, iPad 1. We tried it on iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod touch 4G (it works successfully).Let us know if you need further help.
