GreenPois0n Absinthe jailbreak tool has been released which works on iPad iOS 5.0.1 and iPhone 4S both iOS 5.0.1 and iOS 5. Below is the full guide on how to jailbreak iPhone 4S (5.0.1 – 5.0) or iPad 2 (5.0.1) untethered with the new tool.

Steps

STEP 1: Backup your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and restore it using the iOS 5.0.1 or 5.0 IPSW file downloaded above.

STEP 2: Plug in your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 you want to jailbreak.

STEP 3: Now open GreenPois0n Absinthe and make sure that your device is detected then hit the jailbreak button as shown.

ดาวน์โหลด Absinthe สำหรับใช้ในการเจลเบรค:

- Absinthe 0.1.2-2 for Mac

- Absinthe for Windows ยังไม่ออกมา



ขั้นตอนการทำ Untethered Jailbreak ด้วย Absinthe:

- ต่อ iPad 2 / iPhone 4S ที่ต้องการ Jailbreak เข้ากับคอมฯ

- เปิด Absinthe ขึ้นมาแล้วกดปุ่ม Jailbreak

- ปล่อยให้โปรแกรมทำงาน (iTunes จะปิดไปเอง)

- ซักครู่เครื่องของเราจะขึ้นว่า Restore in Progress แล้วจะ Restart ตัวเอง (ใช้เวลาพอสมควร)

- หลังจากเครื่อง Restart เสร็จ จะมีไอค่อนของ Absinthe โผล่ขึ้นมาบนเครื่อง

- ในขั้นตอนนี้ยังไม่ให้ทำอะไรจนกว่า Absinthe บนคอมฯจะทำงานเสร็จ

- เมื่อ Absinthe บนคอมฯทำงานเสร็จแล้วเครื่องของเราอาจจะ Restart อีกครั้ง

- ให้เปิดไอค่อน Absinthe ที่อยู่ในเครื่อง (ลองเลื่อนหาว่าอยู่หน้าไหน)

- ถ้าขึ้น Error "Error establishing a database connection" ให้ไปที่ Settings -> General -> Network -> VPN -> ON แล้วรอให้เครื่อง Restart

- ซักครู่เครื่องจะ Restart อีกครั้งแล้วคราวนี้จะเห็นไอค่อน Cydia มาแทนที่ Absinthe

- เสร็จสิ้นขั้นตอนการ Jailbreak ครับ
